Alpha Phi is the Stockton Chapter of Chi Eta Phi. Sorority, Inc., an organization of over 8000 female and male registered nurses and nursing students. The sorority was established in 1932 by 12 registered nurses, led by Ailene Ewell at Freedman's Hospital , Howard University, Washington DC.
They labored under the standards of education, service and friendship. Chapters are located throughtout the United States, St. Thomas, US Virgin Iisland and Monovia, Liberia, West Africa. Our motto is "Service for Humanity". The sorority's programs focus on health promotion and disease preventiion, recruitment and retention, education, mentoring and leadership development.
